What motivated you to join Body Evolution? If you want, also share any challenges or frustrations you facing before joining.
I wanted to join an all women's gym and learn about and do exercises based around women's bodies. I was in the beginnings of peri-menopause and wanted a more tailored programme to support the many symptoms of this. At my last gym my programme very rarely changed and I knew I wasn't improving my strength but just kept going anyway. I was doing the same programme day in and day out.
What made you choose Body Evolution over other fitness options?
I feel more comfortable training with just women, and had been to an all women's gym before. The previous gym I was going to closed down so I was on the hunt for another one. Finding BE was so good. Small classes, all women, tailored training, great chats, so much more than just a regular gym. BE is all of these things and more.
What specific goals did you set when you started your journey here, and how have they evolved?
I wanted to become fitter and stronger and tone up.
How has your transformation improved your confidence, health, or lifestyle outside of the gym?
Being a part of the 'BE' team has improved my overall lifestyle, health, and confidence in so many ways. My peri-menopause symptoms have lessened. It has helped with my anxiety hugely. Being fitter and stronger feels good. Going to BE has become just 'something that I do', rather than 'something that I have to do'.
What advice would you give to someone considering joining Body Evolution?
It's a game changer. The sessions are varied and supported by an experienced coach every time. Getting fitter and stronger makes everything in your life that little bit better. The small classes are great and being with other women in a small group setting has been a highlight. The friendships you build and the laughter you have all make for this being a 'gym with a point of difference'. You will not regret joining BE.

What motivated you to join Body Evolution? If you want, also share any challenges or frustrations you facing before joining.
I was stuck in an exercise rut, focused on regaining 'smallness' as a way of regaining self. I was injuring myself regularly, and losing motivation easily. I felt like I had lost my mojo! So was ready to try a new approach.
What made you choose Body Evolution over other fitness options?
Initially - my friend highly recommended Body Evolution. Small group of ladies with classes that were adapted to needs. I wasn't sure what to expect - I'd never lifted weights before. Running and HIIT had been my go-to, I felt ready to try something new.
What specific goals did you set when you started your journey here, and how have they evolved?
Honestly, I probably wanted to lose weight. That hasn't happened :) BUT I've also stopped looking (or caring about the scales). I'm much stronger. I'm appreciating the muscle definition! I like feeling and looking stronger - this has helped me mentally as well as physically.
How has your transformation improved your confidence, health, or lifestyle outside of the gym?
Definitely helped my confidence. I think I need to add more nutrition understanding in there. I am approaching fitness and general exercise beyond the gym as a social activity or for fun rather than as a chore.
What advice would you give to someone considering joining Body Evolution?
Take the plunge. Give it time! Real results don't happen overnight. We've all fallen into the quick fix trap before. Go in with goals that are about sustaining your mind and your body for your long-term health and wellbeing. Trust the process, and try new things :)
